Implementation and Demo

Wasmer will implement a TCP to Websocket proxy compatible with the Wasmer Edge compute cloud. The project will be implemented in Rust to ensure high performance.

Proper functionality will be demonstrated with a sample deployment, and a small Cloudflare worker example that accepts the websocket stream. This combined setup will also be used for load testing to ensure the requirements can be reached.

Wasmer will be compensated for the implementation and performance investigations. MethodFi will receive an implementation report, design document and the source code, with full rights for continued usage.

Time to implement: 1-2 weeks. Time to test: 1 week.

Trial and Integration

Wasmer and MethodFi will test the implementation end to end, preferably with end to end integration including all involved parties (banks, Wasmer Edge and the MethodFi workers receiving the data). The goal of this phase is finding and fixing any potential bottlenecks, network layer issues or deficiencies.

Technical requirements

Based on MethodFi requirements it seems adequate to assure best guarantees on the infrastructure.

We’ll provision dedicated infrastructure:

Network: 6gbps (this will be guaranteed uplink connection), 300Tb egress/month
CPU: 3M Gb-hours
Support for up to 1,000 concurrent connections (with 30-45 sessions, and 4-10Mb of data shared across session)
First class commitment - a dedicated team to assure a smooth service and on-call in case any issues happen
